The first job I ever had as a waitress… provided the first paycheck in which I had already ear marked for a silver bracelet from an antique store
in the heart of Sydney in 1970.
I now know the central image in the silver bracelet was that of a ‘Barong’, the Balinese ‘slayer of darkness’… my first ever, talisman of power!
Any wonder , when I decided to design jewelry, bracelets were high on my list.
